Museum Grounds open at 11:30am CDT.
Trains running from 12:00pm (noon) until 5:00pm CDT



The Hesston Steam Museum has everything people associate with the July 4th weekend – a relaxing family picnic atmosphere plus entertainment with plenty of smoke, sounds and bright colors.


Hesston's Steam Sawmill will be operating with regular demonstrations of a real antique sawmill.


Painstakingly restored farm equipment will be in operation and on display all day. 
 


Vintage Steam Powered Tractors from the turn of the 19th century will be operating. 


All 3 railroads(1/8 scale, 1/4 scale, full scale) will be running. 
All Aboard!

While you're at Hesston Steam Museum....

Visit The Depot Store for a wide variety of steam related items including tee and sweat-shirts, "Thomas the Tank Engine"® toys and much more.

Bring a picnic lunch or enjoy great lunch fare at The Whistle Stop Snack Shop.   The menu includes hot dogs, tacos, burritos, taco salad, polish sausage, pizza slices, hot wings, chips, cookies, soft drinks and ice cream treats.
