Scholarship The LaPorte County Historical Steam Society is proud to offer a scholarship to a LaPorte County graduating senior. The scholarship application period for the 2008/2009 school year is closed. 2009 Scholarship Awarded We at the Hesston Steam Museum are very pleased to present Hayley Dykstra of LaPorte High School with a $1000.00 scholarship. This new scholarship was presented by our Board of Directors on Saturday May 23rd. Hayley is a very deserving student and we are very proud to be able to assist her with her educational goals. Congratulations Hayley! |

Toys for Tots toy drive Donate a new unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps. Toys for Tots toy drive and receive one free train ride! Thank you all for a very successful Candy Cane Express event in 2008. We more than doubled our pervious record for toys donated to our annual "Toys For Tots" campaign!
