RIDE THE CANDY CANE EXPRESS, SEE SANTA AND SUPPORT “TOYS FOR TOTS!”

FIRST TWO WEEKENDS IN DECEMBER, NOON TO 5 P.M. CENTRAL TIME

HESSTON, IND. -- Families throughout the Michiana and Chicagoland areas can make lasting holiday memories – and support a wonderful cause -- at the Hesston Steam Museum!

Ready for a nostalgic trip into the past? Visitors can ride SANTA’S CANDY CANE EXPRESS in enclosed or open railroad coaches on a two-and-half mile railway line through the woods and past lakes and farm fields. Meanwhile, Santa waits for children in his vintage red caboose from the 1900's!

Museum grounds open at 11:30, Trains run from Noon to 5:00 CDT. Kids also can help greet Santa at noon when he arrives in a vintage Ford Model T!

Find lots of toys for your little engineer and take 15% off store wide in the Depot Store, our museum gift shop. ‘Tis the season to think of others! Hesston is proud to support the US Marine Corps.’ Toys for Tots® toy drive. Steam Museum visitors bringing a new unwrapped toy for donation receive a free train ride!

And this year, it’s even EASIER to support such an important cause. Train lovers can donate a new toy at any one of 4 Al’s Supermarkets in (LaPorte and Michigan City, Ind. ) and receive a voucher for a free ride at Hesston!

Santa’s Candy Cane Express will run the first two weekends in December: Dec. 5-6 & Dec 12-13.  FREE ADMISSION, Train Tickets: Adults $5.00 Children $3.00. Kids under three ride free.
