FATHER’S DAY SPECIAL & CIVIL WAR TRAIN RAIDS

HESSTON, IND. – It’s getting warmer outside. Likewise, the Hesston Steam Museum – the best not-for-profit place for family fun and learning – is heating up its schedule of events!

FATHER’S DAY: Here's a great Father's Day gift wrapped up in sights, sound, steam and fun family memories! In honor of Father's Day, the Hesston Steam Museum lets DADS RIDE ON ANY TRAIN FOR JUST ONE DOLLAR all weekend *with one paid child's ticket!

Then on Sunday (Father's Day), Hesston literally rolls out even more entertainment as host to the Northwest Indiana Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society Antique Truck Club. Tour the grounds and see the beautifully restored trucks from all eras.

The Hesston Steam Museum will have all three live-steam railroads operating for the entire weekend. Each railroad travels a different route on the museum’s scenic grounds. This is a day Dad and/or your entire family will not soon forget!

CIVIL WAR RAILROAD DAYS Area residents should plan to visit June 25 & 26 for our annual Civil War history celebration. Secret plans have been uncovered by Union Army spies that the Confederate Army will raid trains. Union soldiers will defend the trains. Also, there will be a living history encampment at the museum grounds.
